Role Overview
The Technical & Client Manager sits at the intersection of delivery leadership and account strategy. You will translate client objectives into actionable technical plans, maintain executive-level relationships, and ensure every sprint ships with quality.
You will work 15–30 hours per week on a contract basis with the option to scale hours as our partnership expands.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for enterprise stakeholders, running weekly status calls and quarterly business reviews.
- Facilitate discovery workshops, requirements gathering, and backlog grooming to keep cross-functional teams aligned.
- Review architectural decisions, unblock engineers, and ensure deliverables meet performance, accessibility, and security benchmarks.
- Monitor scope, budget, and timeline while surfacing risks with mitigation plans early.
- Coach clients through resourcing, roadmap trade-offs, and go-live readiness.
- Represent Webstacks during technical interviews or pre-sales conversations when needed.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in web development or technical program management with at least 3 years in a client-facing leadership role.
- Deep familiarity with modern web stacks (Next.js, React, TypeScript, headless CMS, and related tooling).
- Comfortable managing several concurrent projects and context switching without losing detail.
- Excellent executive communication skills—able to synthesize complexity into crisp updates.
- Proficiency with project management tooling such as ClickUp, Asana, or Linear, plus strong documentation habits in Notion or Confluence.
- Available for meetings across US time zones and willing to travel quarterly for onsites (optional but appreciated).
